Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain will continue in several places of Odisha during the next four days under the influence of a cyclonic circulation over south Chhattisgarh and neighbouring areas the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its midday bulletin on Monday, issuing dense fog alert in several districts in the state.

Day 1 (Valid up to 0830 hrs IST of 23.01.2024)
Light to moderate rain\thundershower very likely to occur at a few places in Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Sonepur, Boudh, and at one or two places in south Odisha, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul, Sambalpur, and Bargarh. At the same time, dry weather is very likely to prevail over the remaining districts of Odisha. Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at a few places in north interior Odisha and one or two places.
Yellow Warning (Be updated): Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places in Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, and Sambalpur.

Light to moderate rain/thunderstorms is very likely to occur at a few places in south Odisha, north coastal Odisha, and at one or two places over the remaining districts of Odisha. Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Odisha.
Yellow Warning (Be updated): Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, and Jagatsinghpur.
