Bhubaneswar: The maximum temperatures (day temperature) and night temperatures fell appreciably in many places across Odisha during the last 24 hours. At the same time, the India Meteorological Department (IMD), in its afternoon bulletin, predicted light to moderate rainfall in a few places in the state on Thursday.
According to the IMD, the maximum temperatures observed an appreciable fall at one or two places over the districts of south Odisha, an appreciable rise at one or two places over the districts of north Odisha, and no large change elsewhere in the state.
The minimum temperatures observed appreciable fall at one or two places in interior Odisha while there was no large change elsewhere over the districts of Odisha. They were appreciably below normal at one or two places in interior Odisha, above normal at many places in coastal Odisha, and normal elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.
