Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday evening issued a Yellow nowcast warning for Odisha, forecasting light to moderate rainfall at many places across the state over the next three hours.
According to the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar, the weather conditions are likely to bring light to moderate rain to several districts, prompting authorities to advise residents to remain alert.
The IMD urged people to keep a close watch on the weather and be prepared for any deterioration in conditions.
The Yellow warning, categorised as “Be Aware”, calls for caution as changing weather conditions may affect normal outdoor activities and localised travel.
The advisory was issued at 7 pm IST and will remain valid for the next three hours.
