Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for five Odisha districts, predicting light to moderate rain or thunderstorms with lightning and gusty surface winds of 30-40 kmph over the next three hours.
According to the nowcast warning issued at 8:45am, the districts likely to be affected include Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Puri, Kendrapara, and Jagatsinghpur.
Residents in these areas are advised to remain vigilant and keep a close watch on the weather, as conditions may worsen.
