Dhenkanal: Eight live crude bombs were seized from the canal embankment near Kankadapala village under Dhenkanal Sadar police limits on Saturday.
According to reports, locals spotted the crude bombs lying on the canal embankment and informed the police. On being informed police reached the spot.
A bomb disposal squad of the police defused and destroyed the seized crude bombs.
Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
