Bhubaneswar: On the request of Economic Offences Wing, Bhubaneswar, Bureau of Immigration (BOI) has issued Look out Circular against one Nisha Kashyap, wife of Bhiku Bisoyi, one of the Directors of M/s Kinney InfotechPvt. Ltd.
The EOW has booked them under Sections 406/420/467/468/471/120 B IPC, and Sections 66(C) & 66 (D) of IT Act, for allegedly defrauding Rs 1.91 crore from 166 job seekers.
A case in this matter was first registered by Bhanjanagar police which was later taken over by the EOW. The duo had collected money through a ponzi firm named M/s Kinney Infotech Pvt. Ltd, the EOW said.
In 2021, Bisoi, a native of Ganjam and Manikandan of Chennai, as Directors of Kinney Infotech opened an office at Bhanjanagar and employed some agents to persuade the common people to invest money.
“This was done on the pretext of providing them jobs. But the accused persons misappropriated the invested amounts, closed the office and fled away,” the EOW added.
During investigation it was also found that Kashyap is either the sole or Co-Director of as many as (10) Ten companies noted below:
1. M/s Kinney International Pvt. Ltd.
2. M/s Aimsbrow Travel Holidays Pvt. Ltd.
3. M/s Bisoyi Trading Pvt. Ltd.
4. M/s Simbucks Virtual Tech Solution (OPC) Pvt. Ltd.
5. Bisoyi Electronic Pvt. Ltd.
6. Bisoyi Gifts and Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
7. Bisoyi Real Estate Pvt. Ltd.
8. Indobritt Textiles Pvt. Ltd.
9. Gomata Dairy Pvt. Ltd.
10. Bisoyi Food & Beverage Pvt. Ltd.
“Earlier, a EOW team had gone to Delhi but Kashyap was not present in her house there. She is now absconding in order to evade arrest,” the EOW stated. Look Out circular is generally issued to alert immigration check posts at airports/seaports etc, to alert law enforcement agency if the wanted person tries to leave the country or arrive inside country from abroad.
