Sundergarh: Locals locked a school here protesting unparliamentary behaviour by a teacher who came to the institution, drunk, regularly.
According to reports, Assistant Teacher of Kisanpada primary school in Lephripada block, Pradeep Kumar Patel was found in an inebriated condition in the school on a regular basis.
He used to misbehave with the school children and sleep on the floor.
Opposing such behaviour and act of indiscipline, the villagers had drew attention of the school headmistress Smita Pandey.
The matter was also reported to Block Education Officer (BEO) demanding appropriate action against the drunk teacher.
