Gunupur: A massive fire erupted in the Computer Science Department’s main building at GIET University in Gunupur in Rayagada district, causing significant damage. The blaze destroyed expensive computers and other critical equipment, reducing much of the department’s assets to ashes.
Upon receiving the alert, two fire tenders from the Gunupur Fire station rushed to the scene and successfully extinguished the flames after a grueling two-hour effort.
