Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Police announced the transfer of 208 police inspectors to various districts across the state, on Friday.
In addition, 38 police personnel were relieved from the Commissionerate Police. Several officers will be reassigned to key units, including the Crime Branch, Vigilance, Government Railway Police (GRP), Intelligence, Economic offences wing (EOW), Special Task Force (STF) Bhubaneswar, Special Branch Bhubaneswar, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), and the Police Training School in Angul.
According to an official notification, Bidhu Bhusan Mishra, who was previously stationed in Dhenkanal, has been transferred to Angul.
Similarly, S. Dasarathi Patro, previously assigned to Bhadrak, has been moved to Berhampur. Kamalakanta Das, who served with the Commissionerate Police, will now be posted in Bhadrak.
Furthermore, Santosh Kumar Gouda, formerly with the SCRB in Bhubaneswar, has been transferred to the CID in Cuttack.
