Bhubaneswar: The Home Department on Friday effected a major reshuffle in the IPS cadre. Below are the details of the transfer and postings:
- Manoj Kumar Chhabra, IPS(RR-1988) at present Special DGP, SAP is transferred and posted as DG, Prisons, Director, Correctional Services;
- Santosh Kumar Upadhyay, IPS(RR-1988) at present DG, Prisons, Director, Correctional Services is transferred and posted as DG, Fire Services, CG, Home Guards and Director CD;
- Sanjeeb Panda, IPS(RR-1994) at present ADGP, CID-CB (I/C OSPH&WC) is transferred and posted as Director Intelligence & Additional Charge, OSPH&WC
- Arun Bothra, IPS(RR-1996) at present Transport Commissioner is transferred and posted as ADGP, CID-CB (Additional Charge Transport Commissioner.
- Satish Gajbhiye, IPS(RR-2002) at present Principal, Urban Police & Traffic Training Institute is transferred and posted as IGP, Communication;
- Shefeen Ahamed, IPS(RR-2003) at present IGP, Home Guards is transferred and posted as IGP, HRPC;
- Dr Umashankar Dash, IPS(RR-2008) at present DCP, Bhubaneswar is transferred and posted as Additional CP, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack;
- Niti Shekhar, IPS(RR-2007) at present Additional CP is transferred and posted as DIG, WR, Rourkela;
- Pinak Mishra, IPS(RR-2011) at present SP, Berhampur is transferred and posted as DCP, Cuttack;
- Parmar Smit Parsshottamdas, IPS(RR-2013) at present SP, Nawarangpur is transferred and posted as SP,Baragarh;
- Prateek Singh, IPS(RR-2014) at present DCP, Cuttack is transferred and posted as DCP, Bhubaneswar;
- Rahul Jain, IPS(RR-2015) at present SP Bargarh is transferred and posted as SP Jaarsuguda;
