Bhubaneswar: Making tall promises and keeping none is an old habit of the BJP and today’s manifesto is no aberration, stated BJD spokesperson Sulata Deo ridiculing the BJP for launching of manifesto for the upcoming three-tier panchayat polls in the State.
“In 2017 a few of the Zilla Parishad presidents were from BJP. They had failed so miserably that the people rejected BJP in the 2019 elections,” said Deo speaking to reporters here.
Deo said that the BJP is going to perform very badly in the upcoming Zilla Parishad elections and the manifesto is the last-minute attempt to hoodwink the people of Odisha.
“The 4.5 crore Odias of the State are aware that it is only the BJD which works for their welfare and development and they will make BJD victorious in the panchayat polls,” the BJD spokesperson asserted.
