Sundargarh: In a shocking incident, a man was brutally beaten to death by his acquaintance over previous enmity in Sargiguda Munda Sahi under Koida Police Station limits in Sundargarh district.
The deceased has been identified as Sadhu Munda, while the accused is Roi Munda.
According to reports, both men were spending quality time together on Thursday evening. During the gathering, an old dispute resurfaced, which turned violent. Roi Munda allegedly assaulted Sadhu Munda with a wooden stick, killing him on the spot.
Upon being informed, Koida Police reached the crime scene, recovered the body, and arrested Roi Munda.
The accused is currently being interrogated by the police. Further investigation into the case is underway.
