Bhubaneswar: A person sustained critical injuries after falling from the second floor of the Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Balangir district on Monday.
The victim has been identified as Purnachandra Sahoo, a resident of the Kharasalpada area in Bolangir.
According to reports, Sahoo had visited the hospital for a doctor’s consultation when the incident occurred. He allegedly slipped inadvertently and fell from the second floor, resulting in severe injuries.
Sahoo was immediately admitted to the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. His condition is reported to be critical.
