Man Dies, Two Women Injured In Road Accident In Rayagada

Bhubaneswar: One person died and two women were injured in a road accident at Borikhal Chhak under Muniguda police station in Rayagada district, on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Megh Badaseth. His wife, Amba Badaseth, and another woman, Sunama Palakia, sustained injuries in the accident.

According to reports, Megh Badaseth, along with his wife and Sunama Palakia, was traveling from Ambadala to Subarnagiri to buy medicine when he lost control of his bike and collided with a tree at Borikhal Chhak. Megh Badaseth died on the spot, while the two women were rushed to Muniguda Community Health Centre (CHC) for treatment.

Upon receiving information, the police reached the site, recovered the body, and sent it for a post-mortem examination.
