Bhubaneswar: A 32-year-old man was found dead near a brick kiln in front of Biju Patnaik Modern School, Raighar, under Raighar Police Station in Nabarangpur district on Saturday, with his face covered in red chili powder.
The deceased has been identified as Pabitra Harijan, a resident of Madagaon village in Ganjapara Panchayat.
Upon receiving information, Raighar Police swiftly reached the scene, where they recovered the body and initiated an investigation.
To assist in the inquiry, a scientific team has also arrived at the location to help determine the circumstances surrounding the crime.
