Cuttack: A man went missing after jumping into the river Mahanadi from Jobra barrage in the city on Tuesday.
According to reports, a black coloured scooter and a pair of chappals possibly belonging to him have been recovered from the barrage.
On being informed Fire Service personnel have launched a search operation to rescue the missing person.
The missing person identified as Mrutunjay Manika is said to be a resident of Mancheswar area in Bhubaneswar.
