Bhubaneswar: A murdered his 4-year-old niece by hacking her with an axe at Hetakhamar village under Riamal police limits in Deogarh district on Tuesday.
Reportedly, the deceased identified as Rojalin was having her breakfast when her paternal uncle Nagarjuna struck her in the neck with an axe.
Following it, Nagarjuna was detained by villagers and handed over to the police. Meanwhile, police have arrested Nagarjuna and have initiated a probe.
