Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, a man has been arrested for allegedly murdering his wife on suspicion of an illicit relationship in Jada village under Gurundia police station in Sundergarh. The accused, Laxman Oram, reportedly took his wife for a walk and brutally murdered her.
The deceased, identified as Jayanti Kujur is an anganwadi worker
According to the police, Oram tied his wife’s body in a sack and threw it into the river. Based on the accused’s statement, the police are currently searching for the body in the river at Lathikata.
The police arrested Laxman Oram after investigating the case, and a further probe is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the crime.
