The redevelopment project aligns with the state government’s vision of Viksit Odisha and aims to revamp infrastructure and facilities to meet evolving technological demands. The turnkey project includes detailed design, engineering, construction, and one-year operation & maintenance. Major components encompass new academic blocks, state-of-the-art laboratories, modern hostels, utility systems, student amenities, and extensive site development works.

This phase is part of a comprehensive master plan designed to accommodate nearly 10,000 students in the coming years, elevating VSSUT to a premier technical education and research hub of national standard. The initiative focuses on enhancing academic delivery, research capabilities, and residential facilities while supporting Odisha’s long-term goal of developing quality technical education and skilled manpower.

M/s NCC Ltd. has been selected as the lowest bidder for executing the project in turnkey mode. The redevelopment is expected to significantly improve campus infrastructure, attract better faculty and students, and strengthen industry-academia linkages.
