Bhubaneswar: A man sustained bullet injuries after unidentified miscreants opened fire following a dispute at a bar near Damana Square on Saturday night.
According to reports, a scuffle broke out between two groups of patrons at the bar. Amid the chaos, some persons reportedly pulled out firearms and opened fire, injuring one person. The assailants fled the scene immediately after the incident.
The injured person was rushed to a nearby medical facility and is currently undergoing treatment.
On being informed, a team from Chandrasekharpur police station reached the spot, launched a probe, and recovered a spent cartridge from the scene. Efforts are on to identify and nab the accused.
Further investigation is underway.
