Man, Minor Nephew Electrocuted In Bhadrak Village

Bhubaneswar: A five-year-old boy and his uncle were electrocuted at Daisingh Adivasi Sahi in Bhadrak police station on Tuesday.

The deceased have been identified as Naba Munda and his uncle Nidhi Munda.

According to reports, the incident happened when Naba was chasing monkeys near his village and came into contact with a live electric wire that had fallen on the ground.

Nidhi, who witnessed the incident, rushed to his nephew’s aid but unfortunately, got electrocuted as well. Locals quickly disconnected the power supply and took both victims to Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital for treatment. However, the doctor declared them dead upon arrival.
