Bhubaneswar: A man was killed and his wife was critically injured after being attacked by some miscreants near the office of the Post Master General(PMG) in Bhubaneswar late Sunday night.
Reportedly, the couple and their minor child were sleeping on the footpath when they were attacked. While the man died on the spot, the woman and her child have been admitted to Capital Hospital.
As per locals, the family is homeless and worked as daily wagers. As per the last reports, the child has been handed over to ChildLine. Kharvelnagar Police have initiated a probe into the incident.
