Man, Nephew Killed In Road Accident In Bhadrak’s Chandbali

Bhubaneswar: A person and his nephew were killed in a road mishap at Guanl on Dhamara Port Road under Chandbali block in Bhadrak district on Thursday.

The victims have been identified as Rakesh Jena and Manas Jena, both residents of Pradyutnagar, Dosinga panchayat. The victims were related, with one being the uncle of the other.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident, but the exact cause of the accident remains unclear.

According to reports, the victims were travelling on a bike from Chandabali to Dosinga when the accident occurred. Local youths spotted the victims and began a rescue operation. Police personnel from Dhamara and Dhamara Marine Police Stations, who were passing by, joined the rescue operation and shifted the injured to Chandabali Community Health Centre, where they were pronounced dead.
