Man Shoots Wife Dead With Arrow Over Illicit Affairs In Keonjhar

Keonjhar: In a shocking incident, a man killed his wife by shooting her with an arrow over suspected extra-marital affairs at HandiBhanga village under Bambari police station in Keonjhar district.

According to the preliminary police investigation, Chani Munda, the wife of Dasora Munda of this village, was allegedly having an affair with another man.

Late last night, a fight broke out over the incident, following which Dasora Munda got up in anger and shot Chani Munda with an arrow. The arrow hit Chani in the chest.

This morning, her husband Dasora and his family took Chani to Jhumpura Health Centre, where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

Police have detained the accused husband and are questioning him.
