Man Shot Dead By Brother-In-Law During Poaching In Gajapati

Bhubaneswar: A man was shot dead by his brother-in-law while he went to the jungle for poaching at Mohana in Gajapati district.

The incident took place in Bhaliagani village under Mohana police station in Gajapati district.

The deceased has been identified as Kailas Nayak. On Saturday, Kailash and his brother-in-law went to the forest to hunt wild animals.

Kailash was killed after brother-in-law opened fire for poaching.

The police seized the body and sent it for autopsy and are investigating the incident.

Police are investigating the matter to ascertain whether it is a case of murder or accident.

Police detained the accused and are interrogating him regarding the incident.
