Balasore: In a shocking incident, a man and his sister-in-law were found hanging inside his house at Sahada village under Chandipur Police Station in Balasore district on Monday.
The deceased man, who was married and had a child, had reportedly been missing for nearly 15 days along with his sister-in-law.
According to reports, the duo had returned to the house on Sunday before they were found hanging the following day.
Preliminary reports suggest that the deaths may be a case of suicide by hanging, allegedly linked to an illicit relationship between the two. However, police have not confirmed the exact cause of death.
Bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and further details will be ascertained after the reports are received.
Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
