Man Slits Father-in-Law’s Throat Over Family Dispute In Ganjam

Bhubaneswar: A man sustained severe injuries after allegedly being attacked by his son-in-law with a sharp weapon.

The incident took place at Gudisara village under Kotinada police station in Ganjam district.

According to reports, the accused son-in-law slit his father-in-law Congress Nahak’s neck with a sharp-edged weapon over a family dispute and fled the scene.

The victim sustained severe injuries on his neck and was initially admitted to Aska Hospital. However, Nahak was later shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital as his condition deteriorated.

Police have, meanwhile, launched an investigation into the incident and are making efforts to apprehend the accused.
