Keonjhar: A man who had duped over Rs 1 crore from several persons in Bhubaneswar was nabbed by Commissionerate Police from Anandpur in Keonjhar districts after a manhunt of around five months.
The accused identified as Umesh Padhi had conned a doctor from Chandrasekharpur area in Bhubaneswar and several other persons.
Commissionerate Police nabbed him with the help of Ghasipura Police from a rented house in Ward No. 13 under Anandpur Municipality. A stolen Maruti Swift car has also been seized from his possession.
Umesh’s wife Sharmila Priyadarshini Padhi has also been arrested for abusing and manhandling police during the raid.
