Nuapada: Maoists allegedly killed a man at Dhekunpani village in Sunabeda of Nuapada district on Thursday night suspecting him to be a police informer.
The deceased identified as Anant Ram Raut was a native of neighbouring state Chhattisgarh and was residing in the village for many years.
Maoists called Raut from his home last night and shot him dead. They left some posters near his body stating any person who works as a police informer will be punished with death.
