Malkangiri: A bus en route to Hyderabad from Malkangiri in Odisha was reportedly torched by Maoists at Kutur in neighbouring state Andhra Pradesh on Sunday night.
As per sources, the bus with over 40 passengers was intercepted by the Maoists at Kutur during a bandh organised by the Dandakaranya Division of the Maoist organisation.
The Maoists first asked the passengers to get down from the vehicle and set it on fire. All the passengers are reportedly safe.
