Bhubaneswar: Customs Department officials on Monday seized over 9 kg of marijuana at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here.
According to reports, the contraband was confiscated from two women who had flown in from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The contraband was concealed in 19 packets, with an estimated market value of Rs 9 crore.
The two women were promptly arrested and presented before a court, Investigations are underway to determine the origin and intended destination of the drugs.
