Bhubaneswar: A man and his paramour who had attempted suicide on Tuesday died while undergoing treatment at District Headquarters Hospital in Rayagada late at night.
The deceased are K Ramesh (45) and K Sridevi.
Ramesh, who is already married with two children, had been carrying on an affair with Sridevi, a young woman from his neighbourhood. After their secret relationship was exposed, the couple attempted suicide in a bid to escape the consequences.
Both Ramesh and Sridevi were rushed to the Rayagada District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) for treatment, where they died while undergoing treatment.
