Masked Youths Assault MKCG Clerk With Swords, Critical

Berhampur: Three unidentified, masked youths on a motorcycle made a murderous assault on a staff member of the MKCG Medical College & Hospital (MKCG MC&H), grievously injuring him with swords at Khodasingi Kuthari Sahi Chowk in the city on Thursday.

The injured individual has been identified as Kailash Sahu, a senior clerk at MKCG Medical College & Hospital.

According to reports, the assailants attacked Sahu with swords, targeting his hands and legs, while he was returning home after work. His condition is reported to be critical. After receiving initial treatment, he was transferred to AIIMS-Bhubaneswar for advanced medical care.

Police suspect the attack may have been motivated by previous enmity. Police have reached the scene and initiated an investigation into the incident.
