Bhubaneswar: A 30-year-old mathematics teacher reportedly died of a heart attack while he was going to have lunch at the Kumbhariput (SSD) Government High School at Bandhugaon block in Koraput district on Saturday.
The deceased teacher has been identified as Abhiram Mandingi, a resident of Sindubai village under Kolnara block in Rayagada district.
According to reports, the incident occurred during lunch hour when Mandingi was to going take his meal. He suddenly complained of stomach pain and chest discomfort. Despite being rushed to the Bandhugaon Community Health Centre in an ambulance, he was declared dead by doctors.
According to the deceased teacher’s younger brother, Mandingi had been experiencing stomach issues prior to his death.
An unnatural death case has been registered, and the body of the deceased teacher has been sent for post-mortem examination.
The news of his death has left the family and colleagues in shock.
