Bhubaneswar: While maximum temperature dipped at several places across Odisha, mercury breached 40 degrees Celsius in State Capital-Bhubaneswar for the second time this season.
Bhubaneswar recorded a maximum temperature of 40.8 degrees Celsius.
Three places across the State today recorded day temperatures of 40 degrees or more.
Boudh and Paralakhemundi were the hottest places in the State and recorded the highest temperature of 41 degrees Celsius.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the day temperature will rise by 3-5 degrees Celsius in several places of the State from tomorrow.
