Bhubaneswar: Microsoft Windows users across the globe, including in India, Australia, Germany, the United States, the UK, and other countries, are confronting a widespread issue with their laptops displaying blue screens, leading to automatic system restarts and shutdowns.
A Microsoft Cloud outage has impacted industries worldwide, including aviation. Indian airlines Spicejet, Akasa Airlines, and Air India Express faced flight cancellations and delays due to the disruption.
Also, the widespread Microsoft outage has caused unprecedented disruptions to computer systems worldwide, resulting in significant impacts on various critical infrastructure sectors.
Microsoft, in a tweet approximately six hours after the outage was first reported, said that “Multiple services are continuing to see improvements in availability as our mitigation actions progress”.
The outage is reportedly linked to a failure in Crowdstrike Falcon, a cybersecurity platform that provides security solutions for Microsoft Windows.”
