Bhubaneswar:  The body of a migrant worker from Odisha was found lying on railway tracks in the Deba area under Thane police limits in Maharashtra.

The deceased has been identified as Ajay Singh of Garadama village under Adaba police limits in Gajapati district.

Singh had gone to Maharashtra to work as a bonded labourer a month back. However, his body bearing injury marks were recovered from railway tracks. Police registered an unnatural death case in this connection and began an investigation to unravel the mystery behind his death.

Meanwhile, Ajay’s family members urged the Odisha government to bring back Ajay’s body to their village.
