Bhubaneswar: Well-known miniature artist L. Eswar Rao has once again showcased his exceptional talent by creating a breathtakingly beautiful 7-inch Shiva temple using chalk and paper sticks.
To commemorate the auspicious occasion of Shivratri, Rao dedicated 15 days to craft this intricate miniature temple, which stands 7 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide. The temple features four 0.5 cm Shiva idols and an impressive array of over 25 chalk-made sculptures of various side deities.
The intricate details of the temple include 1-inch tall idols of Ganesha, Parvati, Kartikeya, Nandi, and others, demonstrating Rao’s remarkable skill and precision. This magnificent creation is a testament to Rao’s passion for miniature art and his dedication to preserving the traditional craftsmanship of India.

Rao revealed the intricacies of his stunning 7-inch Shiva temple, saying, “I have utilized 324 chalk pieces and 21 paper sticks to craft this exquisite miniature temple. To add an extra layer of beauty, I’ve carefully placed 108 Shiva lingas around the temple. Through this intricate art piece, I extend my warmest wishes to everyone for a Happy Shivaratri.”
