Bhubaneswar: Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari has ordered the identification and demolition of government land encroached by affluent individuals within three months. The minister directed the officials during his review of the Revenue Department’s work at the Dhenkanal Collector Office.
Pujari has instructed administrative officers to safeguard government property by evicting encroachments and registering land occupied by poor and landless individuals in their names. Pujari reviewed the implementation of Vasundhara Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Dhenkanal district, directing tehsildars to identify unused land allocated for projects and submit a report.
Strict action will be taken against officials neglecting government property protection. The minister’s directives aim to ensure proper land utilization and protect the interests of underprivileged sections.
