Minor Boy Dies Due To Electrocution In Balasore

Balasore: In a tragic incident, a minor boy died due to electrocution in Jirital village under Bahanaga block in Balasore district.

The 12-year-old boy Ayush Maharana, the only son of Prabhakar Maharana, came into contact with a live electric wire while pouring water at home.

He was rushed to Khantapada Community Health Centre, where the doctor declared him dead. The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the village.

Ayush was a Class VIII student. The Khantapada police have seized the body for post-mortem and are investigating the incident.
