Balasore: In a tragic incident, a minor boy drowned to death while bathing in Subarnarekha river near Sardarsahi of Asti panchayat under Baliapal police limits of Balasore district on Friday.

The deceased minor boy has been identified as Tapas Rana.

According to reports, Tapas along with two of his friends had gone to the Subarnarekha River to take bath. Due to heavy rain in the upper catchment, the river was swollen.
