Koraput: In a shocking incident, two minor boys on Thursday allegedly murdered their friend, a student of Class VII following a quarrel over a mobile phone game at Masiput village under Koraput Town police station limits.
Preliminary investigation by the police suggests that the three minors of Masiput were playing a game on a mobile phone near the village school on Thursday.
Later they had gone near the river to attend to nature’s call where they had a quarrel which turned into a fight in which one got killed.
Apprehending that villagers would come to know about it, the other two minors dragged the deceased’s body to a distance near the river and dumped it.
The police have detained the two minors and they are being quizzed.
