Malkangiri: A minor girl, Mamata Goud of Mathili Indira Colony under Mathili police limits in Malkangiri district who on Monday fell into a pit has been rescued by Fire Service personnel.
According to reports, Mamata while playing fell into a pit dug for the erection of an electric pole. She was rescued after an hour-long effort by Fire Service personnel.
Mamata who was rescued in critical condition has been admitted to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Mathili.
Her condition at the time of filing of this report is stated to be stable.
