Bhubaneswar: A tragic incident has occurred at Shakti Sadan Shelter Home in Malkangiri, where the hanging body of a minor girl from MV-81 village, was recovered. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
The deceased has been identified as Usa Biswas, daughter of Amal Biswas.
According to reports, a dispute arose between the cook and the minor girl over eating non-vegetarian food instead of plain food. Following the argument, the cook allegedly attacked her with a whip. However, the exact circumstances of the girl’s death are yet to be determined.
The police have stated that the details of the incident will be known after the scientific team from Koraput arrives and conducts a thorough investigation. The family members of the deceased have lodged a complaint, and the police are working to unravel the mystery surrounding the girl’s death.
