Cuttack: The minor girl who was rescued after being trapped under the huge pipes of the ongoing box drain project of JICA in the Kesharpur area of the city today succumbed to her injuries.
The minor girl was initially admitted to the SCB Medical College & Hospital in critical condition and was later shifted to a private hospital.
However, she breathed her last at the private hospital.
Mangalabag Police have informed that the minor girl had fractured her hip in the mishap and died while undergoing treatment.
