Miscreants Chop-Off Youth’s Palm In Berhampur

Berhampur: In a murderous assault, miscreants allegedly chopped off a youth’s palm  with a sword at Rangunibandha Sahi Chhak under Bada Bazar police limits in Berhampur city on Tuesday evening.

The grievously injured youth has been identified as Ajit Nayak (31).

According to reports,  Ajit was attacked with a sword by miscreants near Rangunibandha Sahi Chhak while he was going to Keuta Sahi.

On being informed, Bada Bazar police reached the spot and rescued Ajit who was lying in a pool of blood writhing in pain.

Police after rescuing Ajit got him admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in critical condition.

Meanwhile, Ajit is being shifted to a private hospital in Visakhapatnam as his health condition deteriorated.

Police have registered a case and have launched an investigation into the matter.
