Miscreants Decamp With Gold Jewellery Worth Rs 1.5 Cr In Sundargarh

Bhubaneswar: In a broad daylight robbery, armed miscreants decamped with gold ornaments worth Rs 1.5 crore and cash worth Rs 2 lakh from a residential property under Hemagir police limits, on Monday.

As per reports, the miscreants tied all the family members of Nikhil Agarwal after entering into the house. The robbers threatened Nikhil and his family members with life following which Nikhil handed them over the keys of almirahs.  Miscreants later looted cash worth Rs 2 lakh and gold jewellery worth Rs 1.5 crore from Nikhil’s house before fleeing.

Acting on a complaint, police started an investigation into the robbery with the help of a scientific team.
