Boudh: A Class X student was found lying unconscious after five miscreants waylaid him when he was on his way to school and administered him injection forcefully.
This incident took place at Gabajora village under Manamunda police limits in Boudh district.
The victim has been identified as Sambit Bag, son of Kasi Bag of Tulasikata village.
According to sources, Sambit was going to Gabajora High School when five miscreants administered him injection forcefully. As a result, Sambit became unconscious. Seeing it, a few locals raised alarm following which the miscreants reportedly fled the scene.
He was rescued by locals who informed his family members. Sambit’s family members rushed to the spot and took him to Sonepur Hospital.
Till the last report came in, Sambit was being treated.
Sambit family members are clueless about the miscreants and why they administered an injection to Sambit. It is suspected the miscreants might have wanted to abduct the student for which they administered him injection.
