Cuttack: Miscreants allegedly looted a butcher of his money, mobile phone and important documents by spraying sedatives on him in Gopalpur area of Cuttack city on Friday.
The butcher identified as Meherban Shah has been hospitalised following the incident.
According to reports, two miscreants riding a motorcycle visited Meherban’s meat shop and wanted to buy meat.
The miscreants sprayed sedatives on Meherban and a customer at the shop and decamped with money, mobile phone and important documents.
Meherban was rescued by the police and has been hospitalised.
Meherban, a resident of Niali area in Cuttack district used to come to Gopalpur every day to sell meat.
