Miscreants Loot Donation Box From Temple In Mayurbhanj

Baripada: Miscreants have allegedly looted the donation box from the Bhairab Shankar temple on College Road in Udala in Mayurbhanj district.

According to reports, the priest of Bhairab Shankar temple on College Road on reaching the temple on Wednesday morning found its gates open. He found the donation box (hundi) of the temple missing. He reported the matter to the temple’s managing committee who later informed the police.

Udala police have launched an investigation into the matter.

In the last five days four burglaries have taken place in Udala while the police are yet to make any breakthrough.
